A Big Horn High School senior has achieved school history. The Sheridan Press reports Lydia Mauroff has been named an Academic All-American by the National Speech and Debate Association. To be named, a student must have a 3.9 GPA or higher and reach 750 speech points throughout competitions.
A police drug dog has reached the end of his career. The Rawlins Times reports K9 Riggs’ retirement was honored by the Rawlins City Council. He will live out his retirement with his handler, Sgt. Christopher Craig, and his family.
